Description:

The Program Lead from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) discusses the CY 2019 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Final Rule and the resulting changes for hospitals and the Hospital OQR Program.

Target Audience:

Individuals that report data for the Hospital OQR Program who wish to learn about the upcoming changes for the program as a result of the Final Rule.

Objectives:

Locate the Calendar Year (CY) 2019 Outpatient Prospective Payment System/Ambulatory Surgical Center (OPPS/ASC) Final Rule in the Federal Register.
List the finalized changes to the Hospital OQR Program in the CY 2019 OPPS/ASC Final Rule.
Identify changes that were not finalized for the Hospital OQR Program.
