This presentation will provide an overview of quality program finalized requirements for hospitals as addressed in the recently released Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS)/Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Final Rule. This discussion will focus on finalized changes to the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR), Hospital-Acquired Condition (HAC) Reduction, Hospital Value-Based Purchasing (VBP), and the Hospital Readmissions Reduction Programs.
