Description: The Program Lead from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be presenting the Calendar Year (CY) 2020 Proposed Rule. We will cover the proposed changes for the program, where to locate the Proposed Rule in the Federal Register, and how to submit comments to CMS.
Objectives:
- Locate the Calendar Year (CY) 2020 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/ASC Proposed Rule in the Federal Register.
- Identify the changes to the Hospital OQR Program in the CY 2020 OPPS/ASC Proposed Rule.
- Submit comments to CMS regarding the CY 2020 OPPS/ASC Proposed Rule.
Target Audience: Individuals in the hospital community who report data for the Hospital OQR Program. This presentation will review the proposed changes for the program set forth through the Proposed Rule.
