Description:

The Program Lead from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be presenting the Calendar Year (CY) 2019 Proposed Rule. We will cover the proposed changes for the program, how to locate the Proposed Rule in the Federal Register, and how to submit comments to CMS.

Target Audience:

Individuals reporting data for the ASC Quality Reporting Program. This presentation will review the proposed changes for the program set forth through the Proposed Rule.

Objectives:

Locate the CY 2019 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Proposed Rule in the Federal Register.
Identify the changes to the ASCQR Program in the CY 2019 OPPS/ASC Proposed Rule.
Submit comments to CMS regarding the CY 2019 OPPS/ASC Proposed Rule.
