Having difficulty with audio on a ReadyTalk event? Read below for solutions to common audio problems:

  • NO AUDIO?
    Audio for ReadyTalk events is provided via Internet Streaming. You must connect speakers or headphones to listen. Be sure you turn your computer volume UP, also!
  • ECHOING AUDIO?
    You are connected to the event in more than one browser window or tab – Because of this, you are hearing the audio stream twice. Close all but one browser window/tab, and the audio issue should clear up.
  • SLIDES OUT OF SYNC WITH AUDIO?
    Due to varying Internet speeds, your streaming audio feed may lag behind the slide deck. To refresh and “catch up”, click the F5 button to refresh your browser. Your audio feed should resume in sync with the slide deck. If that doesn’t resolve your problem, continue reading below.
  • BROKEN OR CHOPPY AUDIO?
    This is usually caused by a temporary Internet connectivity issue. Click the pause button in the upper left corner of your screen. Wait five seconds, then click the play button. This should clear up the audio issue. Alternately, you can click the F5 button to refresh your browser. If that does not resolve the issue, continue reading below.
  • CANNOT STREAM AUDIO? (NEED PHONE NUMBER)
    If you are unable to stream audio for whatever reason, please send a chat message to our Presenters. Let us know you are unable to stream, and request the dial-in number.
